What is your degree worth?

In an article posted on USA Today's website, Mary Beth Marklein discusses the results of data research by College Measures. It compares the cost of your degree against your your first salary upon gradaution.

A few important findings of the research;

  • Some short-term degrees command higher salaries than bachelor's degree
  • Higher tuition does not necessarily lead to higher salaries
  • The "S" in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) may be oversold
